Maison Planàterre Je lève mon chapeau à cet album de 2019_12 tout à fait impérial. Joué judicieusement avec des variations nombreuses alliant des passages plus tumultueux entre eux ou avec d'autres moments plus mélancoliques, j'ai savouré indécemment chacune des trames musicales. Excellent.

Founded by members and ex-members of Morgue and Outre-Tombe, Trépas is one of the more recent Black Metal outfits emerging from Québec. The band journeys between harsher moments and more atmospheric passages, all complimented by acoustic guitars and just a dash of doomish sensibility, creating a sound that is their very own in the process. A newcomer that is sure to delight fans of the more brooding and melancholic side that scene has been known for!

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
